Dylan's parents got us an amazing timeshare in the beautiful town of Carlsbad. We had such a great time! The weather was super, the beach was beautiful and Dylan surfed every day.

Ouch!

I took some scissors to my favorite finger. After 3 urgent cares, one hospital, and 5 stitches - finger intact!

Dylan and I had a fabulous brunch by the river (Potomac) in Old Town. It was unlimited Mimosas or champagne!

This was the "Patents" tablecloth I made for Dylan.

Celebrating Dylan's new "Patent Agent" status after he successfully passed the difficult Patent Bar Exam that same morning!

Miss. Heather Flanner whipping some whipped cream to put on our apple tart. She was laughing hysterically while doing it, while listening to the song "whip it, and whip it good!"

Looking forward to having my favorite visitor back!

I thought I'd make a little list (perhaps ongoing) of some things that have come to my attention as of late. They are definitely the effects of being alone for long periods of time.

1. It is incredible how fast one person goes through a roll of toilet paper!
2. I can go a full 48 hours without talking to another human being... easy!
When I do utter a word after these long periods, it scares Corona into the closet.
3. Nobody tells me that I didn't zip up my dress in the back. But then again, with nobody around, I probably would not have been able to do it on my own anyway.
4. When I fart I laugh at myself like a moron.

Never thought I'd say this, but I am sooo excited to be back in our old and freezing house in Concord, with Dylan and all of my friends! Mummy comes first week in December again to help me move.... party on!

Fabulous times in Concord!

Heather and I went to an apple orchard and picked more apples than we know what to do with. We each went around and tried every single type of apple - the best ones were the Golden Delicious. The views of the mountains were beautiful but unfortunately don't show much in the photo.

My DC BFF!

This is Kamal and her boyfriend Sidhartha. Kamal is in her second year at O&B and I don't know how I would have managed this experience without her! She made snow crab legs one night!
